We made it!

We survived our long journey to AK! Spencer was so excited to be at the airport and on the plane, so once he calmed down it was a little smoother, but really not too bad. (Sorry Laurie, Spencer said Wrentham was soooo far away from Boston that he couldn't see you waving to him!) We woke (from a very short nap after arriving here at 2am AK time/6am New England time) to temps of 25 degrees F, and went for a very refreshing walk at 10am with 45 degree temps. A little smoky, but bearable today. The cooler air felt so pleasent that the smoke actually didn't bother me, believe it or not! Spencer loves the loft in Julie's "woodshed", which is a great one bedroom cabin. Spencer and Bryce both enjoyed a walk to pick wild buleberries, and Spencer even ate and liked Begonia flowers! And what to our wondering eyes did appear, but of course a guitar in Julie's cabin! So of course now Spence is seranading Julie, and Bryce is napping off some jetlag. It's great to relax (already), to have Julie be entertained by the boys, and to have quality time with Julie and the boys! Hope all is well with all of you ... try to comment back to us with the anyomous button if you can. Love Kath
