The Girls Hunt

Well as we expected it was a great hike with great company - but unfortunately we never even saw a Caribou. Even if we had been lucky and seen one, it was too windy, foggy, and wet (not to mention we were too tired) to have shot anything. Oh well, we learned a lot, provided entertainment to all the moose hunters on 4wheelers, ended the trip with 2.5 lbs of chocolate to spare, and saw some truly spectacular country...

Our harvest! At least we didn't go home empty handed! Yikes do we have the right tags for this?? Posted by Picasa

Of course the sun finally came out once we got the car packed and left...so we stopped in Chatanika to dry out a bit.. Posted by Picasa

Fall is here!

Here's a few pictures from our bike ride last weekend - a grueling but very rewarding 20 miles. The fall colors are peaking here right now - as you can see it's gorgeous here this time of year. I'm off tomorrow to hunt caribou with 3 girlfriends in the white mountains - a BIG adventure!! We've been planning non-stop for 2 weeks now, hopefully there will be some reward! Love, Jules
