The thing about Fairbanks is the mountains are so close - only 2 hours, but so far away - why is it always so hard to get out of town? Well the girls and the dogs finally broke the barrier and headed down to the mountains for a day this weekend. The trail we wanted to explore was a bust - not enough snow (it's all been blown away) and it turned out to be a trapline anyways so not a good place with all our dogs.
